We then learned how to draw the cherries with Black Ink Pens onto Fabric.  I went on and experimented with India Ink and my various nibs to see how they would draw on Fabric.  They seemed to work very well for me and I went on to draw a single cherry on another piece of fabric using the nibs and India ink.

And on the last day just for fun, we were given a piece of Silk, asked to draw a picture and then experiment with a wash of paints and inks diluted with water so they would bleed into the fabric and run.  I learned that to draw with the lines of the Silk fabric is easier than to draw against them.  And that you need to let the ink dry before you apply the colour wash.
The whole course was very relaxing and a lot of fun.  Thank you Catherine!
